Athlete Housing

Housing is available for students selected to be part of a UCSC Athletics and Recreation sports team or involved with competitions prior to the start of the fall term.

Eligibility:

2025-26 returning and admitted students selected to be part of a UCSC Athletics and Recreation sports team or involved with competitions prior to the start of the Fall 2025 term.

Accommodations:

The residence halls include a variety of shared (doubles and triples) and a limited number of private (single) rooms, and have shared bathroom facilities. Additional amenities include internet access, cable television, computer/technical support, and laundry facilities.

Students with a space in university housing for fall 2025 are eligible to move to their fall housing assignment at the conclusion of the summer housing contract as part of the early arrival program at an additional cost. Interested students must sign up for an early arrival via the Housing Portal. A $524.85 Early Arrival fee will be billed to the student's university account.

Daily Rates:

Includes a $42 per day Flexi Dollar allocation which can be used in a campus dining hall, or at any participating retail establishment. Charges billed to the student’s university account.
