Campus Apartments

The colleges at UC Santa Cruz offer two kinds of living accommodations—residence halls and apartments. Apartments are generally reserved for students above the freshmen/first-year level.

Apartments, which are typically shared by four to eight students, have common living/dining rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, and a combination of shared and private bedrooms.

Each resident is provided with:

  • Extra-long twin bed and mattress (39"x80")
  • Desk
  • Chair
  • Bookshelf
  • Clothing storage (closet/dresser or wardrobe unit)

What's included in an apartment:

  • Living room furniture
  • Refrigerator (one and sometimes two)
  • Stove and oven
  • Recycling container

What's not included:

  • Dishes, pots and pans, cookware, silverware
  • Microwave, dishwasher, dish drainer
