Nutrition and Wellness
On our nutrition website you can access interactive nutrition facts for all of our meals. You can use the meal calculator to check calorie counts and plan a whole day's eating.
In addition, we have added a tool which allows our customers to easily identify the most frequently found allergens in food. By using the ALLERGEN FILTER (located on the nutrition website) you can select from a list of allergens which will show menu selections that do or do-not contain milk, eggs, shellfish, nuts, etc. If you do not eat gluten, the system can show you items that are gluten free.
UC Santa Cruz Dining does not guarantee the accuracy of nutrition information on our online menu; ingredient and nutritional content of foods may vary due to changes in product formulation, recipe substitutions, portion size, and other unforeseen factors. The nutrition analyses provided are approximations only. Guests with food allergies or other food intolerances should consult a chef, dining manager, or the Student Health Center's nutritionist/dietitian for specific ingredient questions.
To further help you identify food options, each dining hall location displays printed signs next to each entree or side dish identifying vegan, gluten-free or vegetarian choices.
We've implemented the next step in our path to sustainability by discontinuing printed weekly dining hall menus. Full menus can now be viewed online.
