Interested in university housing for next year?
This page is your central hub for the 2026–27 continuing student housing process. Here you’ll find key dates, housing options, Info Session and Meet a Roomie events, and guidance to help you navigate the process from start to finish.
What we recommend:
- Attend an Info Session – Get an overview of your housing options and learn more about the housing application and Room Selection processes.
- Apply during the application period – Students who meet eligibility requirements and apply by the deadline can participate in Room Selection.

Use our interactive Continuing Student Housing Planning Guide to compare options and map out a personalized housing plan.

Who is eligible for Room Selection?
Students who live in university housing during both Winter 2026 and Spring 2026 quarters and apply by the Feb. 26 deadline are eligible. Students studying abroad or on a university-approved leave during these terms are also eligible if they lived in university housing the quarter before their leave.
If you don’t meet these requirements, you are still welcome to apply. Your application will be placed on the waitlist and considered if a space becomes available that matches your preferences.

Cancellation policy
It is your responsibility to immediately cancel your application in the Housing Portal if at any time your plans change and you are no longer interested in university housing (e.g. you are accepted into an exchange program, you academically withdraw/take a leave of absence or are barred, find other housing, etc.).
