Chowder Cook-off at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Our campus chefs will be competing for the 9th consecutive year at the upcoming Chowder Cook Off at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on Saturday, February 25, 2012. The event is from 11-3 Come down and taste "perfection in a bowl!"

We have brought back several trophies and awards for our White Boston Style and our Red Manhattan Style Chowders over the years! Were proud of the food we serve our students and enjoy coming together to compete on behalf of UCSC.
Your can hear us shouting " We have the best educated chowder on the planet" and of course, "No slugs were harmed in the preparation of our chowders!" It's a wonderful community event, and we need the campus support to come down and vote for us. The People's Choice Trophy is always a hard fought award to earn!
