Sustainability is Very Important at UC Santa Cruz Dining
Winners of the first Goldies Awards were announced last week at the national Menu Directions Conference in New Orleans. Over 60 videos were submitted and judged by the panel.
Dining's recent video, Appetite for Green, which shows UCSC's outstanding sustainability initiatives, was judged best in the competition in the GOING GREEN category.
This video was the result of a student led project by dining CUIP Intern, Grant Hartwell, a College Ten senior, and Nick Denova, a Porter College junior. These talented students were busy during fall quarter capturing all of the information, filming, and producing this award wining video.
