Important Motel Housing Partnership Program Details:
Some motels offer a rental agreement for
the entire academic year. We recommend
that students visit more than one motel
to make the most appropriate personal selection.
- Students provide a rental application
with references
- Applications are available at the Community
Rentals Office and on line: Rental
Application
- Most rentals are on a month-to-month
agreement, terminated by either party
with 30-day written notice. Please
note: Some motels require a 3-4 month
minimum stay
- All rooms are furnished with bed/s,
dresser or chest, table, chairs
- Students provide their own bedspread/comforter
and linens, unless otherwise noted
- Most motels provide a microwave and
refrigerator, micro-fridge, or a kitchenette
- Some motels allow students to bring
their own microwave and refrigerator
- Motels provide once or twice weekly
cleaning service that includes vacuuming
and cleaning the bathroom
- Laundry facilities are nearby or on-site
- All motels are near a bus stop
- No pets of any kind, no electrical
cooking appliances, hot plates, electric
skillets, steamers, etc. are allowed
in the rooms unless approved by motel
management
- No BBQs are allowed at any time, unless
motel has a BBQ on-site
