UCSC Camper Park Wait List Application Process
The Camper Park consists of single-occupant recreational vehicles, and all residents share a community building with restrooms, showers and laundry facilities, and a lounge/study room. Prospective applicants are encouraged to visit the park to see the facilities first hand, and decide if this type of housing and living is desirable.
Notice: Recreational vehicles are designed primarily for recreational use and short-term occupancy. Prolonged occupancy can lead to premature component wear/failure and create conditions, which if not managed properly, may be hazardous to the occupant’s health and/or cause significant damage to the vehicle. Residents of the Camper Park accept responsibility to promptly report any significant wear or failure of any component of the vehicle through the Housing Maintenance Service Request System (fixit.ucsc.edu) to enable the University to appropriately respond to the issue.
- Newly admitted transfer and graduate students, as well as current UCSC students, are eligible to apply. Newly admitted freshmen are not eligible.
- All applicants are subject to a thorough review of their UCSC judicial history. A student must have and must maintain a good judicial record as governed by the UCSC Student Code of Conduct in order to be placed and remain on the waiting list. Anything more than a minimal infraction of this code will likely make you ineligible to live at the Camper Park.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee assignment to a space in the Camper Park. Students living in other university housing with a valid housing guarantee will be given priority for assignment when a space becomes available.
To apply, download the application and submit it to The Village Office, Bldg. C1, 1156 High Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95064.
